GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Bikers have it best in Greenwich Village, one of eight New York City neighborhoods ranked in a new real estate analysis.

The tiny neighborhood earned a tip of the helmet Thursday from StreetEasy, who compared access to Citi Bikes, bike shops and bike lanes across the five boroughs.

Greenwich Village ranked among the top eight for its 17 CitiBike stations, two stellar bike shops and easy access to the Hudson River Greenway, connecting cyclists to 13 miles of easy riding.

Waterfront Bike Shop earned accolades for repair and rental services and the Brompton storefront on Bleecker Street for a good place to buy an e-bike.

There were 35 cyclists injured in Greenwich Village crashes between July 2022 and July 2023, New York City crash data show.
