Downtown Trains Delayed By Person On West 4th Street Tracks: MTA

D, F, M, C and E trains are all delayed and rerouted in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday due to an unauthorized person on the tracks at West 4th.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Multiple Lower Manhatttan trains are delayed and rerouted Tuesday afternoon while NYPD responds to an unauthorized person on the tracks at West 4th Street-Washington Square station, according to the MTA.

As of 2:53 on Tuesday, there is no service along the D/F/M lines in most of Midtown/Lower Manhattan, and delays are expected on the C and E lines, according to the MTA.

Furthermore, F trains are running on the E line in both directions between West 4th Street and Jackson Heights-Roosvelt Avenue, and M trains are running on the E line between 5th Avenue/ 53rd Street and West 4th Street.
