WEST VILLAGE, NY — Two men walked into a West Village business in the middle of the day, pretended to have a gun, and took hundreds of dollars in goods, police said on Wednesday.

The robbers walked into a store at 85 Christopher Street on May 11 around 2:11 p.m., and approached an employee as one of the men simulated having a gun, police said.

The duo demanded items and ended up grabbing $153 from the register and merchandise valued at $370, police said.

There are three businesses located at 85 Christopher Street — Grand Cleaners, Kids Kip, and CPR 4Bar — but it is unclear which store was robbed.

NYPD has since tied the West Village robbery to a different incident on May 9, when two men also walked into a store at 206 Avenue B and made verbal threats to an employee, while demanding property, police said.

The robbers grabbed $265 from the cash register and ran out of the store, police said.

NYPD released photos Wednesday of the two men wanted in connection with the robberies.
