Elderly West Village Woman Is Missing, Police Say
Police asked for help finding 79-year-old Jayne Haynes, who went missing from her West Village home on Thursday.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — An elderly woman has gone missing from her home in the West Village, according to police, who asked for help tracking her down.
Jayne Haynes, 79, was last seen on Thursday leaving her home on West 11th Street near Hudson Street, police said.
She was last seen wearing a black baggy T-shirt, black leggings and flip-flops, according to police, who released a photo that appeared to show Haynes wearing that outfit.

Police described Haynes as a white woman, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build and blue eyes.
Authorities asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
