LITTLE ITALY, NY — An apartment building caught on fire on Elizabeth Street Thursday morning, an FDNY spokesperson said.

The fire broke out about 10:35 a.m. at 90 Elizabeth St. near Grand Street, sending 60 firefighters to douse the flames on the fifth floor of the six floor walk-up, the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said the fire was under control by about 11 a.m., and no one was hurt.
