One scene from the movie in particular of Scorsese keeping the camera on Watts for the entirety of a "Jumpin' Jack Flash" performance has made the rounds on social media in the days since the legendary drummer passed away.

Bernard Doherty, the drummer's publicist, said Tuesday that Watts "passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family."

"Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also as a member of The Rolling Stones one of the greatest drummers of his generation," Doherty said.
