Greenwich Village Jogger Sex Attack: New Photos Released Of Suspect
Eleven days after the attack, NYPD released new photos of a man wanted in connection to sexually assaulting a woman in Greenwich Village.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Much clearer photos were released by police Wednesday night of a man wanted in connection to attacking and sexually assaulting a woman jogging along the Hudson River in Greenwich Village.
The 39-year-old woman was running March 27 northbound on Hudson River Greenway at Pier 40 near West and Clarkson streets around 6:10 a.m. when a man riding a bike approached her, pushed her to the ground, and began choking her, police said.
The man proceeded to sexually assault her, before snatching her cell phone and fleeing on his bike, police said

Initially, the only photo sent out by police was a blurry black and white picture.

Police describe the man as 5-feet, 9 inches, 180 pounds, and 20 to 30 years old.
The woman was hospitalized after the attack with pain and bruising, police said.
There have been no arrests.
