"This Greenwich Village sports bar with a literary past (Jack Kerouac and other Beat writers frequented this place) is a haven for Cheeseheads, thanks to its loyalty to the Green Bay Packers," Eater NY wrote. "The low-lit Christopher Street bar is a superb place for watching any game and playing a round of darts or pinball when the action dies down."
The Greenwich Village watering hole even has a connection to the Green Bay Packers famous quarterback. Aaron Rodgers helped save the bar during the COVID pandemic, when he shared the link to a GoFundMe for the bar, along with a picture of him within the joint.
"With the exception of Lambeau Field, the Kettle of Fish is the best place to watch a Packer game," reads a message on the bar's website.
The GoFundMe quickly hit its goal after the helping pass from Rodgers.
