L'Artusi Supper Club To Replace West Village Classic I Sodi
The Tuscan eatery is moving to Bleecker Street and a 38-seat supper club run by nearby L'Artusi is moving in.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A classic West Village Tuscan eatery will be replaced by a supper-club outpost of a West 10th Street Italian joint.
L’Artusi plans to open a supper club in the longtime home of I Sodi at 105 Christopher St., near Bleecker Street and around the block from its current location, Community Board filings show.
I Sodi is making moves to Bleecker Street. The reason for both moves? More space.

"We have more demand that we can fulfill at L’Artusi and would like to create 'L’Artusi Supper Club' that allows for the L’Artusi experience in a more intimate, communal, family style setting," reads the Community Board Two questionnaire.
"Our intention is to offer both classic and new L’Artusi dishes created by our long time chef, Joe Vigorito," the restaurant wrote, adding that they will also occasionally host private dinners, guest chefs and wine dinners.

L’Artusi opened on West 10th Street 14 years ago. In 2021, the same team opened both a sister restaurant across the street, B’Artusi, and a nearby sandwich place, Via Porta, on Hudson Street.
I Sodi's new, larger space will be just a block away at 314 Bleecker St., on the corner of Grove Street, according to What Now NY, the previous home to French spot A.O.C.
The move was first reported by Eater.
