Man Forced Into Car And Robbed In Greenwich Village: Police

The man had his cellphone and credit card ripped away from him, police said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A man was forced into a car and robbed in Greenwich Village, police said on Wednesday.

A 23-year-old man was standing at the intersection of Clarkson Street and Hudson Street, near James J. Walker Park, about 4 a.m. on Nov. 6, when two men rushed up to him and forced him into their car, police said.

Once inside, they grabbed his cellphone and credit card, before booting him back onto the street, police said.

There were no injuries reported.
