Groper Follows Woman Into West Village Home: NYPD

The man groped a young woman he followed into her apartment building near Jane and Greenwich streets, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man who groped a young woman he followed into her West Village apartment building is sought by police, the NYPD announced Monday night.

The wanted groper followed the woman, 24, into her apartment building near Greenwich and Jane streets about 10 p.m. on Feb. 26, according to police.

The man grabbed the victim's behind as she walked up stairs then ran away on Jane Street, officials said.
