NYC Dance Parade Hits The Streets Of Downtown Manhattan This Weekend

It doesn't matter what you wear, just as long as you are there.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN — Summer's (nearly) here and the time is right for dancing in the street, parade organizers say.

Thousands of dancers doing Bolivian Salay, Japanese Yosakoi and the Lindy Hop — just to name a few — will take to the streets of downtown Manhattan Saturday for New York City's 16th annual Dance Parade.

The parade features 10,000 dancers performing more than 100 styles of dance — among them, Hip Hop, Conga Santiaguera and the succinctly named "weirdos."
