NYPD Looking For Suspect In String Of Greenwich Village Burglaries
The stolen goods from Greenwich Village buildings include an electric scooter, a tablet, a watch, and $1,500 in cash, police said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — The New York City Police Department is looking for a man wanted in connection to four recent burglaries in Greenwich Village and the West Village. NYPD released details Tuesday night about the string of burglaries that took place from March 10th to 30th.
The burglaries all included a man breaking into a commercial property, and on two occasions, using tools to break the locks of cellar doors, police said.

Around 3:45 a.m. on March 10, a person entered a commercial establishment at 551 Hudson Street through unlocked cellar doors, police said. Once the person was inside, he snatched an electric scooter and scooted away, police said.
The immensely popular Dante West Village bar, Cafe Panino Mucho Gusto, and Vestige Design Studio all share the 551 Hudson Street storefront, but it's unclear which business was burglarized.

A few hours later, on the same night, a person broke into a commercial establishment at the nearby 561 Hudson Street by using a tool to crack the lock of a cellar door, police said.
Once successfully inside, the burglar nabbed a tablet, an electronic device charger, and a duffle bag containing consumable goods, police said.

A day later, around 1 a.m. on March 11, a person broke into a commercial establishment at 75 Washington Place by also using tools to break a cellar doors lock, police said. Once inside, the burglar took a watch and fled, police said.
Is it unclear what business is at the address, since it is a mostly residential street.
Lastly, around 1:45 a.m. on March 30, a person entered a commercial establishment at 167 Bleecker Street by walking through the back door, police said.
He went on to take multiple electronic items, tools, and around $1,500, police said.
Ways and Means and The Comedy Shop are both located at this Greenwich Village address.
