NYU Athletics Head Suspended Amid Sex Misconduct Accusations: Report
Stuart Robinson, who has worked for New York University since 2020, has been accused of sexual misconduct, the student newspaper reported.

NEW YORK CITY — New York University's athletics director has been suspended after the West Village school was made aware of sexual harassment allegations against him, the school's student newspaper reported Tuesday.
"None of the concerns that have emerged involved students," Beckman told Washington Square News, the student newspaper.
Stuart Robinson was placed on administrative leave while the university “undertakes a review of some issues that have arisen,” university spokesperson John Beckman told The New York Post on Wednesday.

The senior vice president for university life will directly oversee the running of the Athletics Department while Robinson is on leave, Beckman added.
Robinson oversees the Violets’ 23-team varsity program and 24 intercollegiate club teams among other programs, according to his biography on the NYU athletics website.

He leads a staff of over 600 professional and student employees.
According to his biography, "during his tenure, Robinson has emphasized the Department’s need to increase resources in the areas of mental health and well-being for all student-athletes and staff."
