Person Slashed In The Face Within Union Square Train Station: Police

A fight between two men Friday afternoon inside the Union Square train station led to a slashing, a police spokesperson told Patch.

UNION SQUARE, NY — A man was slashed Friday afternoon within the Union Square subway station, a police spokesperson told Patch.

Two men got into a fight around 4:15 p.m. within an unspecified part of the station, police said.

The dispute turned violent when one of the men pulled out at unknown weapon and slashed the other in the face, police said.

The slasher then fled the scene.

Police did not have information about the condition of the man slashed.
