Seafood Spot From Successful Team Opens In Greenwich Village

Holiday Bar opened last week at 10 Downing St., which is run by the same team that oversees Saint Theo's and American Bar.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A seafood eatery opened last week in Greenwich Village from a restaurant group that has already found huge success in Lower Manhattan.

Holiday Bar opened at 10 Downing St. along Sixth Ave. in the former home of Cafe Clover.

The restaurant is run by Grand Tour Hospitality, which has also opened and continues to run Saint Theo's, The Lamb Club, and American Bar.

Holiday Bar's menu includes oysters, crabs, ceviche, caviar, salads, squid pasta, branzino, jerk chicken, steak, bok choy, spring rolls, sushi, french fries, and more.

The new Greenwich Village eatery is also already making a name for itself with its martinis, reported Eater NY. The drink is served up with lychee, sake, and in miniature portions as part of a menu option that includes a trio of drinks, the restaurant news and review website added.

The restaurant officially opened on Nov. 18, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
