Straphanger Hit By Train At Union Square Subway Station, Officials Say

MANHATTAN, NY — A man was struck by an uptown 6 train at the Union Square/14th Street station late Tuesday morning, officials said.

The man was struck by the train at around 11 a.m., according to officials. First responders brought him to Bellevue Hospital, where he was expected to survive his injuries, police said, who added that there was no suspected criminality.

Police officials had no other details about the incident.

The 6 train is running with delays in both directions.
