WEST VILLAGE, NY - A 17-year-old has been charged in a burglary at a West Village Papaya Dog location last month while two other suspects remain at large, authorities said.

The teen, whose name was not made public, was charged with robbery and burglary Wednesday, police said.

The incident took place on Jan. 19 shortly before noon when a thieving trio entered the storefront at 333 Avenue of the Americas, police said.

The trio proceeded to remove items and threatened the store employee prior to fleeing location on foot. The 21-year-old male employee sustained no injuries from this incident.
