GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Police arrested three people on Saturday who are believed to have robbed two people within the span of about 25 minutes in Greenwich Village last week.

Early Wednesday morning, two men were robbed just blocks apartment from each other. In the first robbery, police say that a group of five people punched a kicked a 55-year-old man repeatedly and cut him across the face in front of 104 West 14th Street. The group took about $30 from the man before running away, police said. On Saturday, officers arrested three people believed to be involved in the robbery. Police also charged Grand with a second count of robbery for another incident last week. Shortly after the 55-year-old was attacked and robbed, police believe that Grand approached another man about 25 minutes later and only blocks away. Police think Grand approached a 23-year-old man and cut him on his hand and face before stealing his phone and $50.
