Water Main Breaks In Greenwich Village, FDNY Says

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Authorities are responding to a water main break near a Greenwich Village building on Thursday morning, according to fire officials.

A water main break was reported at 49 Seventh Ave. on Thursday morning, an FDNY spokesman told Patch. Officers with the city's fire and buildings department were still on scene inspecting the water main break as of 9:45 a.m., the spokesman said.
