  • Tour the High Line Open Studies in Chelsea: On Saturday and Sunday, you can take a self-guided tour inside artists' private studios in Chelsea. The tour provides access to more than 60 studios in 10 buildings. Learn more about the tour here.
  • Protest in Murray Hill: If you're in the protesting mood and you're opposed to the planned Dakota Access Pipeline, it looks like Saturday's midtown protest will be a pretty big one. Activists who want to voice opposition to the pipeline plan on meeting for a rally at the main branch of the New York Public Library at 1 p.m. before marching to Trump Tower at 2 p.m. More information is available here.
  • Eat cheap hot dogs in the East Village: Get some world-famous New York hot dogs for just 32 cents. In celebration of its 85th birthday, all three Papaya King locations in New York City are offering their famous dogs for just 32 cents. More information is available here.
  • New York City Beer Week: It's the last weekend of New York City Beer Week. Get a full list of events, in breweries and bars throughout the city, here.
  • Eat a Doughnut Grilled Cheese in Tribeca: Lower Manhattan eatery Clinton Hill debuted its "Flamin’ Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheese" this year, and it's generating a lot of buzz. It's exactly what it sounds like: A grilled cheese sandwich, but with doughnut halves instead of bread. You can grab one for yourself at Clinton Hall, 90 Washington St.
