Woman Kicked In The Head In Greenwich Village Robbery: Police
Two violent muggers beat the woman, then snatched her phone and transferred $750 out of her account, police said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A woman was kicked in the head during a brutal mugging in a Greenwich Village street that saw the thieves using a payment app to steal her cash, police said Tuesday.
Two people jumped the 23-year-old near Bleecker Street and LaGuardia Place on Aug. 31 about 8:55 p.m., police said.
The violent duo then grabbed her phone and used the Zelle payment app to send themselves about $750 from her account, police said.

The woman was left with scratches and bruising throughout the body and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment, police said.
There have been no arrests as of Wednesday morning.
