Woman Rubbed At West 14th Street Subway: NYPD

A man pressed his groin against a 29-year-old woman on a downtown 2/3 train last week, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man rubbed his groin up against a woman on a subway train near West 14th Street last week, according to police.

A 29-year-old woman riding a downtown 2/3 train on April 13 at around 8:30 a.m. when an unknown man approached her from behind and pressed his groin against her, according to police.

The woman and the man both left the train at the West 14th Street station, according to police, and the man then boarded an uptown 2/3 train on the next platform.

Police have released photos taken by the victim after the incident.
