World-Famous Italian Sandwich Shop Opens In Greenwich Village

All'Antico Vinaio, an internationally acclaimed sandwich spot, just opened its second NYC location at 225 Sullivan St.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A world-famous Italian spot just opened a location in Greenwich Village.

All’Antico Vinaio opened last week at 225 Sullivan St., near West Third Street, which is the eatery's second location in Manhattan.

All’Antico Vinaio opened in Florence in 1991, where its three locations became popular tourist attractions for what Savaeur magazine called "the world's best sandwiches."

There is no menu posted online for the new Greenwich Village location, but the eatery is best known for serving its square stuffed sandwiches filled with salami, prosciutto, gorgonzola, capocollo, roast beef, mortadella, truffle honey, pecorino cream, spicy eggplant, and more.

There is currently a 10 percent discount for any NYU students that show their ID at the new storefront.

All’Antico Vinaio opened its first location outside of Florence in 2020. Its other New York City location is at 729 8th Ave., which is near West 46th Street.

The new Greenwich Village location is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
