Construction Commences At Former Bowling Alley
Once complete, the site will feature a restaurant and indoor retail shops.
On Wednesday afternoon, chain link fence was being installed at the former Westhampton Beach bowling alley as part of a project to transform the building into an mini indoor mall.
Sunset West, LLC, which owns the building, received permits earlier this year to develop the 20,000- square-foot building, complete with a 50-seat restaurant.
Once finished, the building, located at 78 Sunset Avenue, will also feature, 2 offices, two wet stores, and 6 retail shops.
The project aims to create a shopping center with a mall-like feel that can accommodate year- round businesses.
