Hampton Bays Residents Head To Polls For School Budget, BOE Vote

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Voters will head to the polls today to cast their ballots in the annual budget vote and Board of Education election.

Voting will take place from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the Hampton Bays Middle School Gymnasium, located at 70 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.

The proposed 2024 to 2025 budget of $66,068,400, reflects a 3.32 percent spending increase and a 2.2 percent, within the tax cap limit.

Voters will also weigh in on a proposition to use$300,000 in unexpended funds for repairs and renovation.

Incumbent BOE candidates Anne Culhane and Liz Scully are running unopposed.
