New Director Of Pupil Personnel Services Appointed At Westhampton Beach School District

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — The Westhampton Beach School District Board of Education has promoted JoAnne Williams as its new director of pupil personnel services.
"JoAnne has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and a deep passion for education," said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Carolyn Probst. "We are thrilled to see her take on this administrative role, which we are confident will benefit the district's students and staff."
Williams, of Hampton Bays, joined the Westhampton Beach School District in 1998, teaching special education at the high school level, the district said. She has also served as the special education department coordinator and chairperson of the Committee of Special Education, the district added.

Prior to joining the district, Williams taught ESL students at Oleai Elementary School in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.
Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in child study and special education from St. Joseph’s College and a Master of Arts in literacy from LIU Southampton.

"This is my 27th year in the district, and I have witnessed firsthand the incredible talent, care and dedication of our faculty, professionals and staff," said Williams. "My goal is to continue collaborating closely with our team, families and students to provide the highest-quality educational experiences for students at Westhampton Beach."
