Photos: East Quogue Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The East Quogue Fire Department held its Annual Memorial Day Parade and wreath-laying ceremony on Sunday to pay tribute to those members of the armed forces who have died in service to our country.

Southampton Town elected officials participated in the parade, along with members of the Hampton Bays Hand-Aldrich Post and Quogue VFW Post, neighboring fire departments, and several local community organizations.

The parade was followed by a ceremony with Fire Department President Robert Holley serving as master of ceremonies — the honored guest speaker was Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer Michelle Roxby.

Following the remembrance ceremony, community members enjoyed hot dogs and refreshments courtesy of the East Quogue Fire Department.
