Southampton Police Log: DWI and Drug Arrests

Southampton arrest reports through May 5.

DWI
• A 51-year-old Flanders woman was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on April 3. According to police, Nancy Alexander was pulled over on Flanders Road for following too closely. She was further charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor. Police said she had a quantity of cocaine in her pocket.

• Johanna Sanchez, 18 of Sag Harbor, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on May 3 after police said they pulled her over on Flanders Road in Hampton Bays for moving from a lane unsafely. 

• Nancy Alexander, 51, of Flanders, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on May 3 after she was involved in an accident on County Road 105 at Flanders Road.

Drugs


• Kathleen Bales, 54, of Hampton Bays, was charged with DWAI combined with drugs and alcohol on May 3 after police said they witnessed her driving erratically in a parking lot on Springville Road. Police said she admitted to taking Xanax and Oxycodone.

• A 27-year-old Commack man* was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, on April 25 after he was pulled over for speeding on Lewis Road in East Quogue.
