Water Main Flushing Begins Next Week

If you notice discolored water coming out of the faucet next week, there is a reason for it.

The Hampton Bays Water District announced that it will be conducting a spring water main flushing starting April 29 through May 13.

To minimize any inconvenience,  the district said flushing will take place during the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The district asks that during flushing, residents check the clarity of their water before using.
