Westhampton Students Participate In East End Networking Event

The program brought together students from across Long Island to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills.

WESTHAMPTON, NY — Westhampton Beach High School’s Virtual Enterprise firm participated in the 10th annual East End Networking Event, held at Atlantis Sea Star Ballroom in Riverhead.

The program, organized by business teacher Amy Demchak, brought together students from across Long Island to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills.

This year’s event featured participation from 29 school districts. VE students showcased their innovative virtual businesses at trade show-style tables, complete with marketing and sales materials, the district said.

The event emphasized the value of networking and public speaking, as each firm delivered an elevator pitch to the audience in the ballroom, the district said.
