Here’s Why Paul Little Was Shouted Out As a West Islip Local Hero

We all know someone who's making a difference. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in West Islip.

WEST ISLIP, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Cindy nominated Paul because of his work with the West Islip Symphony Orchestra and his dedication to bring music to his community.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Little works tirelessly to bring quality music to the people of West Islip and the neighboring communities. The West Islip Symphony recently performed at the Country Fair at the WIPL, the beach and at Wohseepee Park. The orchestra's next concert is Nov.4 at the West Islip High School. The Orchestra has doubled in size as a result of his time, dedication and talent.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

His dedication, passion and enthusiasm to the West Islip Symphony is appreciated by all the musicians and audience members and everyone associated with the orchestra.
