Silver Alert Issued for Missing East Northport Woman

The woman was last seen Friday in Bohemia, police say.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing woman who has dementia and is a diabetic, authorities said Friday.

Suffolk Police say Norma Trinagel, 68 of East Northport, was last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. at the Bohemia Bingo Hall, located at 1644 Locust Ave., Bohemia.

Trinagel is described as a five-foot-three woman, weighing 250 pounds with short white hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, white jacket and black sneakers, police say.

She was operating a gray, four-door 2003 Toyota Corolla with New York State license plate DVJ-5069, police say.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about Trinagel’s location to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call 911.

The Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
