Brooklyn 'Stalker' Slams Honda Into Ex-Husband, Police Say

Bernadette Moreno, 27, of Greenpoint, allegedly attacked her ex as he spoke with his new girlfriend outside their workplace in Williamsburg.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Last Thursday night, a scorned Greenpoint woman allegedly followed her ex-husband to his workplace at 160 Conselyea St. in Williamsburg, near Graham Avenue, and slammed into him with her Honda Accord.

The man informed police that his ex, 27-year-old Bernadette Moreno of Beadel Street in Williamsburg, "showed up to his place of employment and did strike him with her car causing an abrasion to his left knee and right finger," according to an NYPD police report.

"He added that previous to this incident she was following him in her car flashing the headlights at him," the report says.

The man said he had been talking to his new girlfriend outside their shared workplace when his wife drove up and started an argument. When he began videotaping her with his phone, he said she flew off the handle, slammed into him with her car and sped off.

Moreno has since been charged with felony assault, misdemeanor assault and stalking, according to the NYPD.
