Police took the men into custody after they fled from the scene in a car that later crashed.

YORKTOWN, NY — It was all hands on deck Thursday afternoon in Yorktown when, police said, there was a robbery at the Yorktown Pharmacy.
The Yorktown Police Department said three Brooklyn residents entered the pharmacy around 4:20 p.m., with one standing at the front door and two others going behind the cash register area to remove narcotic substances from the shelves.

Following arraignment, the three men were sent to the Westchester County Department of Correction in lieu of $100,000 bail.
They are scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court July 14.
Yorktown police praised the staff at Yorktown Pharmacy in a post on Facebook, saying they kept their collective cool and quickly called 911.
Also given a shoutout were town Supervisor Matt Slater and Councilwoman Luciana Haughwout who help direct traffic in the first few minutes of a rapidly developing incident.
"And, lastly, to everyone who called in with sightings, tips, offers of food, water and to utilize any video feed of this incident in an attempt to assist all of the above agencies, THANK YOU," the department said. "You 'helped us, help you.' "
