5 Events at Somers' Muscoot Farm You Won't Want to Miss in October

They include a pumpkin patch, art exhibit, farmers market, pumpkin picking and an autumn celebration.

There are plenty of events, which the whole family can enjoy, coming up in October at Muscoot Farm in Somers.

Pumpkin Patch in the Vegetable Garden – Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 from noon to 4 p.m.

Pumpkins will be for sale in the garden, with proceeds benefitting the Friends of Muscoot.

Main House Gallery Art Exhibit, Saturdays and Sundays, October 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27 from noon to 4 p.m.

“Autumn Colors:” pottery and ceramic show by the Hudson River Potters.

Muscoot Farmers Market – Sundays, Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 20 vendors will offer fresh produce and food products every Sunday through October.

 

Pumpkin Pickin’ – Sunday and Monday, Oct. 13 and Oct. 14 from noon to 3 p.m.

Take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and choose the one that’s just right for you. $2 fee for hayrides; fee for pumpkin according to size.

 

Autumn Celebration – Sunday, Oct. 20 from noon to 3 p.m.

An afternoon of music, games, hayrides, face painting, craft demonstrations, along with a farmers market and art exhibit in the main house.
