The suspect was reported to have also walked into the office at Dental Implant and Cosmetic, located two doors down.
"He looked very disheveled," office manager Joy P. said. "The sweat was pouring. He looked very nervous."
She speculated the man walked into the office to hide from immediately being located after the robbery was committed.
"I'm surprised," said Frank Demaio, owner of the Yorktown Barber Shop next door.
He said he was not aware of the incident until police informed him. He has been the owner of the barber shop for 27 years and has not heard of any previous robberies at the building.
Joy P. said she has been a customer at Yorktown Jewelers.
"[The owner] is such a gentleman to deal with," she said. "It's such a shame that it happened to the poor guy."
