Breast Cancer Support Group, Yom Kippur Begins Tonight, Warm Up for Fall

1. Yom Kippur Begins Tonight

Yom Kippur also known as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people. It begins this evening and ends in the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Support Connection is hosting breast cancer support group that will discuss stages of diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment. The group will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Support Connection Office, located on 40 Triangle Center Suite 100, in Yorktown Heights. Pre-registration is required. 4. Lake Mohegan Fire Department Honors its 'Old Timers'
