A 60-year-old Mohegan Lake man is facing a petty larceny charge for stealing a pair of sneakers, Yorktown police said.  The man was arrested on April 30 after police received a call from Sears' security personnel that they had a shoplifter in custody. Investigation revealed the man exited the store without paying for a pair of New Balance sneakers valued at $59.99.  He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on June 4.  Editor's Note: The information was provided by the Yorktown Police Department.
