Cops: Woman Steals $181 Worth of Earrings, Socks, Bras, Perfume

Sears security personnel reported the shoplifting incident to police.

An 41-year-old Peekskill woman is facing criminal charges in Yorktown for stealing a number of items from Sears, Yorktown police said. 

Police were summoned to the store on March 21 at about 2:26 p.m. Sears security personnel alleged the woman had stolen a pair of earrings, socks, bras, and perfume having a total value of $181.

The woman was ultimately arrested and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released on $100 bail and was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on April 23.
