Cops: Yorktown Man, 23, Arrested for Possession of Cocaine
Christopher Ross, of Yorktown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Another man is facing a violation for being in possession of marijuana.

Two 23-year-old men are facing criminal charges in Yorktown after police found them in possession of marijuana and cocaine.
Yorktown police said officer Rapisarda was on patrol on Kear Street on March 17 at about 3:15 a.m. when he saw the two men in a parked vehicle. When he approached the car, he smelled the odor of marijuana.
During an investigation, police revealed Christopher Ross, of Yorktown, was in possession of a small amount of cocaine; while the other man, a Boston resident, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Ross was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. The other man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
The two men were each released on $100 bail. They were scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
