A 53-year-old Yorktown man is due in court on Tuesday to answer charges that he pushed a female, causing her to fall down a flight of stairs and break her finger, Yoktown police said.
Police received a call from a Baldwin Road resident who reported a domestic dispute in progress on Oct. 15. When police responded to the scene, they revealed the man had pushed a Heights Drive female, which caused her to fall down a flight of stairs and break her finger.
The man was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. He was served with a temporary order of protection and then released. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Oct. 22.
