Crompond Students Present 'The Flying Power Line' at Grand Central Station

Crompond School students presented their bright ideas and inventions for sustainable technologies of the future as part of Earth Day New York 2013 in Grand Central Terminal.
Jack Zuo, Aidan Besselman-Goldes and Peter Spallone, fourth-graders presented their The Flying Power Line project. The Flying Power Line is like a power line that floats rather than having it anchored to poles. It would float using jetpack technology and it would have weather sensors and energy efficient capabilities. The students' idea came about right after Hurricane Sandy.
The day included of panels and family friendly activities, including ground-breaking new eco-friendly products; local students presenting their future-forward ideas; virtual representation of a future sustainable society and more.
