Croton-On-Hudson Man Arrested For Skipping Court Appearance: Police
He was charged with five misdemeanors, including false impersonation and having an illegal drug, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Croton-on-Hudson man was accused of failing to appear in court to answer charges.
Yorktown Police Department said Wiliam Gambichler, 29, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested Tuesday.
Authorities said Gambichler did not show up March 7 in Yorktown Justice Court regarding the following misdemeanor charges:

- Petit larceny
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Circumventing an interlock device
- False impersonation
- Second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation
The court issued an arrest warrant when, police said, he didn’t appear in court.
On Tuesday, Gambichler was taken into custody at the Putnam County Jail by Yorktown police officers.

He was brought to the Yorktown Justice Court where the arrest warrant was executed.
Gambichler was arraigned and released back to the custody of Putnam County Corrections.
He was taken back to Putnam County Jail and is due to reappear in Yorktown Justice Court April 25.
