Lake Mohegan firefighters are putting their lives on the line every day to help their neighbors and answer hundreds of calls in Yorktown and Cortlandt.  But now they need your help.  In support of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association's , members of the department are running a fundraiser on Thursday, May 31 with the assistance of Applebee's restaurant in Cortlandt. 10 percent of your bill that day will be donated to the Lake Mohegan Fire Department. Participants must present flyer (attached to the story as a pdf file above) when they come to Applebee's in order for the fire department to receive a percentage of the value of the meals served. The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, May 31. Applebee's is located at 3127 East Main Street in Mohegan Lake.
