Edward Peter Caruso Passes Away at 56

From the Yorktown Funeral Home: Edward Peter Caruso, of Amawalk, passed away on Oct. 16. He was 56.

Caruso was born on July 7, 1956 in Brooklyn to Edward and Marie Caruso. He married his wife Susanne on May 22, 1982 at South Amenia.

He was a technician for Delta Airlines for 26 years and retired in October, 2010. The man was a member of the Road Runner Club in Yorktown and New Hyde Park Road Runners Club.

Caruso is survived by his loving wife Susanne, two sons: Edward and Gary, sister Victoria Corrigan (Michael), and brother Paul.

Family will receive friends at the Yorktown Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
