Fishkill Woman Accused Of Driving Without License, Registration
Police also said that some of her car's windows were not transparent.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Fishkill woman was accused of driving without a license and having an unregistered motor vehicle.
The Yorktown Police Department said Summer F. Johnson, 24, of Fishkill, was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle and rear side windows nontransparent, traffic infractions.
Police said, shortly before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, an officer on routine patrol was told about a vehicle in the Jefferson Valley Mall parking lot that seemed to have an invalid registration and rear side windows that weren’t transparent.

The officer located the vehicle, driven by Johnson, and a traffic stop was initiated, police said.
An investigation and computer check found that her privilege to drive in New York was suspended and her vehicle was unregistered.

Johnson was arrested and processed at the scene.
She was issued traffic tickets and released on her own recognizance. She was scheduled to answer the charges in Yorktown Justice Court April 11.
