Hart Memorial Library Seeks New Trustee
The five-year term will begin Sept. 1, according to library officials.

SHRUB OAK, NY — The John C. Hart Memorial Library is looking for a new library trustee.
The library’s board is inviting people to apply for the position that will begin Sept. 1.
The term of office is five years.

Library trustees are responsible for setting library policy and are entrusted with the final responsibility of providing the best possible library services to the community, according to officials.
The board meets a minimum of 10 times a year. Trustees may be asked to serve on board-appointed committees or to represent the library at town meetings and events.
