Homeless Man Sends Threatening Text to Yorktown Woman, Sent to Jail on $250K Bail

A 25-year-old homeless man was held at the Westchester County Jail on $250,000 bail after he was arrested for sending a threatening email to a Strang Boulevard female resident, Yorktown police said. 

Police said the victim reported to police a past domestic incident and investigation revealed than on May 17, Nicholas Went had sent her a threatening text message. 

When police were unable to locate him, a warrant was issued for Went's arrest. 

Went was arrested on June 3 when he appeared at Lakeland High School on an unrelated matter.

He was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor. Went was served with a temporary order of protection and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on June 4.
