Junior Lake Pool Opens, Participate in Guiness World Record Attempt, National Photography Month

1. Participate in Guiness World Record Attempt
Have you visited the Walkway over the Hudson, a pedestrian bridge? Organizers are staging an event on Sat. June 9 in order to "bring only the biggest, best, and happiest events to the Hudson Valley," and 3,000 friends on the world's longest elevated pedestrian park to break a Guinness World Record: The World's Longest Line of People Performing the Hokey Pokey.

2. Farmers' Market to Welcome New Vendors
In her Patch blog post, Karen Symington Muendell writes about the sucess of the grand opening of the Yorktown Farmers' Market. Read more about it . This Saturday, May 26 they will welcome additional vendors – Celtic Farms and Nursery from Shrub Oak, Trotta's House of Pasta from Thornwood, and Gluten Free Dessert Kitchen from Harmony Hill of Clermont.
